How to add the student's cohort to their course completion certificate?

We’re getting close to having self-assigned cohorts working here. In anticipation of that, I’d like to figure out how to make sure that if a student selects a cohort that corresponds to a content group that covers less content, that their certificate correctly shows that they may have completed the course, but it was a less-content version of the course.

So how can I add the student’s cohort to their course completion certificate? (Note: I’m currently using the default certificate template as I don’t know CSS). Thank you for any suggestions.

As far as I can see, the cohort information is not available to the certificate template. I suspect that you’d have to modify this code (and/or the part above) in order to add cohort information.
