How to put OpenEdx site in Maintenance mode

Hi,
How i can put OpenEdx site (LMS) in maintenance mode ?
How i can show a message in LMS that this site is Temporary closed or in maintenance mode and users can’t able to Login.

Hi @deep06, you can stop the lms service which is under supervisor.

It wil display the sinking ship image but you can change that image with your organization logo and message aswell in the error message template.

I don’t know this is a good practice or not but we do follow this for the maintenance.

Hi , I get your approach to put LMS in maintenance mode might as well try that do you know the steps to edit the default error message template.

also I saw a module named maintenance dashboard in studio does it have something to do with putting LMS in maintenance?

How to set LMS in maintenance mode

Hi , I want to know the ways to set open edX LMS in maintenance mode. I saw a module named maintenance dashboard in studio in which there was a option Edit Announcements does it have some thing to do with announcements for maintenance? [image]
