You better install on the recommended OS.

@Ghofrane, as @Herve_siyou already mentioned, it is recommended to use the officially supported OS - Ubuntu 16.04. However, you can use alternative installation methods like Tutor, which runs Open edX containers on docker on any 64-bit UNIX-based system and is supported by Overhang.IO.
