Release update (ficus ↝ ironwood)

Good getlocaltime()

We have ficus.3 instance running right now and want to upgrade it to “ironwood” (at the new server). Is it possible for somehow? How to migrate/update all the data for a new installation?

Thanks.

You will need to upgrade in steps, by upgrading to each release in turn: Ficus, Ginkgo, Hawthorn, Ironwood.

You can refer this documentation for migration.

Sorry for the late response.

I need to move an instance to another server first because of performance issues. Looks like the best solution is 1. install ficus on new server 2. migrate all the data 3. upgrade release by release.

I’ll come back with a solution (I hope)
