Ubicast LTI Integration - Authentication Issue When Not Logged In

Hello Community,

We are in the process of integrating Ubicast with Open edX via LTI 1.3, and we are facing an authentication issue.

Issue Description:

  • When a user is already logged into Ubicast, the LTI integration works perfectly fine.
  • However, if a user is not logged in, the integration fails with an authentication error.
  • Ideally, we expect Ubicast to authenticate the user via LTI and automatically log them in, but this isn’t happening.

Maybe I am assuming this incorrectly, but it seems that if we are not logged in, UbiCast is not receiving a token for authentication. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this issue? Has anyone else faced the same problem?
Has anyone successfully implemented LTI Deep Linking with other LTI? Does it require additional authentication settings?
