I see that there was some interest in leveraging xAPI as depicted here: https://github.com/edx/xapi-events I also found a deprecated attempt at doing this here: https://github.com/openfun/openedx-xapi but have found no other sources. Is there a current project being run or completed that hasn’t been published to the Open-edX GitHub page, or has this this effort been canceled?

I’ve got it to work, but there’s some strange emissions from our log file and I cannot see what sets the event_type.
The edx-enterprise app implements support for some xAPI events. Unfortunately the documentation is lacking.
You might also want to take a look at OEP-26: Real-Time Events proposal, which mentions xAPI among others.
Has there been any progress on xAPI within edX? anyone been successful? would love to learn from others if someone is willing to share success or failures of xAPI/Caliper in edX.
