hello i am new in openedx and cannot find the file lms.env.json .

You can find it in this directory :

/edx/app/edxapp/lms.env.json

Hello and welcome Salman,
what kind of installation did you used to setup your instance?
If you are working on a native instance it’s under edxapp home directory:

/edx/app/edxapp/lms.env.json

if you have a devstack then you have to access to the lms shell first. then you can find it there. to do so change to your devstack directory and run:

make lms-shell
