CC maintainership nomination: 2U\Aurora team for edx-val repo

Hello community members,

I would like to nominate the Aurora team in 2U for CC and maintenance of GitHub - openedx/edx-val.

Motivation:
The Aurora team has been working on Transcript capabilities (focusing on machine-based translation) over the last year. During that time, the team has found edx-val to be below community expectations, learned about how edx-val supports the authoring and learning experiences, and is now interested in maintaining it for both the community’s and 2U’s long term benefit.

Hello there,

This are 4 distinct nominations, and I evaluated the 4 contributors separately. The 4 of them are core contributors already. The contribution record for KristinAoki, jansenk and nsprenkle is super impresive.
BrandonHBodine is relatively new to the project but given how he is already a CC and edx-val is already a library where he has contributed I’m convinced he’ll do a great job as maintainer.

Considering all this I vote yes in the 4 nominations.
