Content Tagging with Redwood Question

Good Morning,

Our team was discussing some needs for being able to tag content blocks in a library in order to apply filters when using library content when course building (i.e. pulling 5 random multiple choice questions tagged with “XYZ topic”). With Tagging taxonomies coming in Redwood, is something like this going to be feasible?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

The initial MVP release of Tagging in Redwood will only include tagging content blocks within a course in Studio. We will be following with the ability to add tags to Library content blocks in Sumac (Dec 2024). We are also improving the Library content search experience in Sumac, so you’ll easily be able to apply searches, filters and sorts on tagged content in a Library, as well as many other content management enhancements.

We’re actually in the stages of testing some UI for the Library features, including tagging. Please reach out if you are interested in providing some usability feedback - jmakowski@axim.org

@jmakowski awesome, that is super helpful! thank you!
