Hello.
We plan to deprecate and remove the “expected error” part of EXPECTED_ERRORS, used with New Relic monitoring. The “ignored error” functionality will remain, although the setting name is proposed to change to IGNORED_ERRORS.

Once the ticket is accepted, removal can happen at any time. If you believe that this feature is valuable and wish to make a case for retaining it, please speak up on the issue linked above.
