If there any way to integrate the edX.org course directory into an Open edX platform? Or alternatively, have a select number of edx.org courses showing in an Open edX platform?

John, this is an interesting idea. I think some sites may have done this using an edx.org API, but I can’t find one at the moment.
Can you tell us more about how you would use this? What courses would you select, and how do they fit into the course catalog you are offering? Is the lack of single sign-on a barrier to how you envision this being used?
This is indeed interesting. Any CC-BY-SA courses on edx that one might want to integrate into their platform would be useful.
Also, is there a course on demonstrating Open edX that one could use on their platform? We have set up a separate instance of Oe and would like our faculty to go through the free course.
Any help would be appreciated.
