My name is Tony Busa. I am a staff engineer turned engineering manager at Western Governors University. We leverage Open edX for our WGU Academy course offerings! While we continue to build out our own instance of the platform internally, I’m working on putting together a team of skilled engineers to contribute (gradually) to the open source platform. I’m just getting started in this community so I’ve been digging into the onboarding courses, youtube videos, technical documentation, etc. I am excited to roll up my sleeves and dig into the code in the coming weeks, while getting to know each of you. A couple things about me - I love software and particularly frontend code. My frontend career has been with Angular, but I enjoy React on my personal projects. I love the outdoors and snowboarding in the winter in Salt Lake City, UT.
