Ironwood Discussion page is not load

Dear friends,

My OpenEdx serves is using Ironwood version . And Discussion forum is not loading.It raise 500 internal error.

I found this error beyond logs .

[crit] 4182#4182: *100927 connect() to unix:/edx/var/forum/forum.sock failed (2: No such file or directory) while connecting to upstream, client: 127.0.0.1, server: forum.*, request: "GET /api/v1/users/15?complete=True&request_id=be322967-2925-4c02-8bc6-df88bf8bc5a3 HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://unix:/edx/var/forum/forum.sock:/api/v1/users/15?complete=True&request_id=be322967-2925-4c02-8bc6-df88bf8bc5a3", host: "localhost:18080"

Really doesnot exist socket files there ,

How can I fix this?.

Hi,

First you need check if forum deamon is running

/edx/bin/supervisorctl status

if this is not running only start o restart

Dear friend @sbernesto ,

I have checked status of the forum service and this is not exist there below services lists.
I tried to start forum while running : /edx/bin/supervisorctl start forum and I get this error:
forum: ERROR (no such process)
How can I fix this?

@Shukurlu Can you copy the logs from the forum service, when you try to start it? The issue preventing it from running is likely shown there.
