Study Offline mode

Hi Everyone! I am new here. Quick question for everyone.

Does Open Edx have features whereby students could have the possibility of downloading the course content which includes text, documents and videos to be studied offline for students?

If not could a plugin be developed for mobile and desktop to study offline by storing the course contents direct into memory to be used by app without needing to use the internet ever again.

Downloading, sure its doable, you design your content so that a student visits a site and can download material like pdf or videos.

I can’t comment on mobile, although mobile uses api largely to view content, but still, for web you’ll need to have a connection. Without the connection site won’t open, without that students won’t be able to download that material.
