Hi,

I’m new to Open EdX but just ran the native installation on an Azure VM. The script finished successfully so the installation should be ok but when I put the VM’s IP in the browser the LMS is not showing up. The connection times out.

I don’t know if the problem is with the Azure VM or the Open EdX instance.

Would anyone be able to help me figure this out? It’s a bit annoying ^^

Nevermind, turned out that I had forgotten to open port 80 on the VM.

I am interested in doing same. What guide did u use? and what server, Ubuntu or windows on azure?

I usel the native installation guide from the Docs and McDaniels blog post. On Azure I used an Ubuntu 16.04 VM. It’s must be 16.04 for some reason.
