I am thrilled to nominate Sam Daitzman for a Core Contributor role as a UX/UI Designer!
I have been working closely with Sam over the past year on the Content Libraries redesign project. Sam has been a critical member of the design team, driving the mid- and high-fidelity designs to completion. I’ve been particularly impressed with how quickly Sam got up to speed on a complex, long-standing project, always asking the right questions to get the designs over the line.
Sam brings extensive design knowledge and usability testing skills to the community, and the ability to discern and engage the right stakeholders at the right times. These are invaluable assets for the community, as we move toward centralized design knowledge-sharing and cross-organizational collaboration. She is not shy about sharing this knowledge in collaborative and productive ways on product proposals and acceptance criteria testing tickets.
Sam also volunteered to take a leadership role in the UX/UI Working Group, bringing new creative ideas to the table, such as collaborating more closely with the Product Working Group on proposal reviews. Her approach to collaboration is always open, authentic and thoughtful.
I hope you are as excited as I am to consider Sam for our team of Core Contributor UX/UI Designer roles. We will keep the voting open for the next few weeks, through Friday, November 29.
