How can we prevent course creators from making changes to other instructors’ content within the same course in Open edX?

You can’t.
You can create a separate course for each instructor.

Hi @abdulahadtp!

I’m afraid this is not possible. Once a user has been granted a course creator permission under a specific organization, they will have the option to create and edit all the courses in that specific organization. Therefore, I believe it is only possible to restrict the course creator access, per organization and not per course.

Hi @abdulahadtp,

This might help. Since the Quince release, a new role called “Limited Staff” has been added to courses. You can assign this role to instructors who should not have access to Studio, preventing them from modifying content.
