I’d like to nominate @Ronak_Pansuriya1 of @abstract-technology Abstract Technology for Core Contributor status. Ronak is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, building on his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He is deeply interested in advancing AI-related initiatives within the Open edX community and is eager to take an active role in the AI Community Group. In addition to his academic background, Ronak has already begun contributing to the project. He has identified and reported several issues in Aspects in collaboration with the https://github.com/openedx/event-routing-backends/issues/508 https://github.com/openedx/tutor-contrib-aspects/issues/1088
Through these activities, Ronak has already demonstrated both initiative and commitment to the project. I believe his continued involvement as a Core Contributor will strengthen our AI and analytics work and add value to the community.
I’m really proud to support the nomination of my colleague @Ronak_Pansuriya1 for the Core Contribution Program. His deep knowledge, active collaboration with the Aspect Working Group and @TyHob and his dedication to improving the code make him a great fit. His calm attitude and thoughtful approach would be a real benefit to the whole community, and I strongly encourage everyone to support his nomination.
As a colleague, I have seen his dedication towards openedx so It’s definitely yes from me.

I vote for Ronak. I totally agree with the points that Stefania mentioned.
I work with Ronak, and he demonstrates exceptional engagement in aspects and superset fields, as well as issues that we frequently face. He is ALWAYS ready to help. Thanks you @Ronak_Pansuriya1
I started working with him early in my Open edX journey, at a time when Rohan and I were working in parallel on related projects. Ronak has always demonstrated strong technical skills and deep knowledge of the platform.
I have full confidence in his abilities, and I believe he will be a great Core Contributor.
I think Ronak will be a great CC, but we don’t have a body of contributions to show yet. We’ve spoken privately and are working on getting him some PRs to show the body of work required for the CC program. I think some of this is a misunderstanding about contributing in general vs. being a CC, which we’re sorting out.
For now, this has to be a “not yet”, but I hope we’ll get there soon!
@Meet_Boghani@mbilan I also wanted to let you know that only core contributors are allowed to vote in these threads, though your feedback is welcome. More information about the details of the program are here:
