Hello Community!

I would like to expand my CC rights to the cypress-e2e-tests repo as well as propose myself for a maintainer role of it.

The goal is to preserve the repo from being deprecated and to start using the repo in our Release testing process to increate the testing speed and improve the quality of the releases.

I’m not a CC in the repo but in Raccoon Gang we have being using the repo’s fork for some time to cover manual smoke testing steps.

I want to:

  1. Update to project to latest Cypress version
  2. Start adding new (generic) tests
  3. Use the tests in the BTR WG Release process
  4. Engage the Community to contribute

Great plan! Hopefully this will ease the burden for regression testing new releases. The tricky part will be getting people to add e2e tests for new features, but that will come… Thank you for heading this initiative @Maksim_Sokolskiy ! :+1:
