Voting stays open until November 1st
The names with the most votes will be the official names for the “U” and “V” releases.
Let’s make these releases memorable—get your suggestions in and vote!
Viburnum - Wikipedia is going to be the only thing that comes up for V, which I don’t love as it’s a lot of letters and maybe easy to misspell (I keep wanting to write “vibranium”), plus, is like kind of a tree at best. The only other “v” things I’m finding are flowers - vanilla, violet, verbena.
I wanted to change my vote from Viburnum to Vitex, but it turns out you can’t un-like a post. So I have voted for 2 “V” names, sorry! You can ignore my Viburnum vote.
For the U: “Ugni” Description: Ugni, an evergreen tree known for its aromatic berries, symbolizes the sophistication and attention to detail that will characterize the new update.
For the V: “Vachellia” Description: Vachellia, a genus of thorny trees, represents resilience and protection. This release aims to safeguard users while delivering powerful features, embodying the tree’s strong defensive traits.
Umbellularia, commonly known as the California bay laurel, is an evergreen tree native to the western United States. Known for its fragrant leaves and resilience in diverse environments, it symbolizes strength, adaptability, and longevity.
Verawood is a tropical hardwood tree prized for its durability, strength, and resistance to wear.
