CC Rights Expansion: Adam Stankiewicz

Following the procedure outlined in OEP-54 , I nominate to extend @agstanki’s commit rights to include all frontend repositories via the committers-frontend team.

Motivation

Adam has an incredibly deep understanding of the inner workings of Open edX frontend architecture. He also always has his finger on the pulse of frontend technology in general. He has shown again and again that he can combine that knowledge to understand what architectural improvements are possible in the Open edX frontend. For Adam, this combined knowledge doesn’t stop at simply knowing of or even understanding possibilities, but leads into wonderfully documented proposals, cleanly coded PRs, and well thought out plans to ensure everything lands in a way that benefits everyone in the Open edX frontend development community.

Adam is also a very insightful, thoughtful, and respectful reviewer of PRs. He is absolutely someone who can be counted on to ask important questions and work with PR authors to ensure the PRs that land on the frontend are great!

We are very lucky to have Adam in the Open edX frontend community. He absolutely will wield the merge power that comes with membership in the committers-frontend team with respect and responsibility.

Prior work

It’s hard to express how much work Adam has put into improving the frontend of the Open edX project, so I’ll let some numbers to the talking. A quick search shows that Adam has created nearly 300 issues in the Open edX GitHub org, and over 1000 pull requests!

Please provide any feedback on this change by 2025-03-21.
