Core Contributor Nomination: Rodrigo Mendez

Hi everyone!

I’d like to nominate @rodrigo.mendez for a Core Contributor and Maintainer role as a Code Contributor to the following repositories:

openedx-authz

Commitment: Rodrigo, a member of the WGU team, has been focused exclusively on the Open edX project since October, and has additional years of experience from his time at WGU. He will be contributing full-time to the Open edX project.

Caliber: In that time he’s made some tricky pull requests to various repositories, including openedx-authz. His code is consistently of high quality, for example:

We feel he is well prepared to become a CC on openedx-authz not just for his pull request work but his deep involvement in the authz architecture, via substantive critical and insightful reviews of PRDs, approach documents, ADRs, and OEPs.

Conduct: Rodrigo is a prolific code reviewer (he’s been involved in over 63 PRs). He consistently provides constructive feedback in a helpful and respectful manner.
