Of particular relevance to 2 of 3 C’s of the CC program is this OSPR to add a support for a regional Arabic translation to the platform, wherein Farhaan discussed in detail the implications of adding another Arabic translation to the platform with concerned community members at Appsembler. The reviewers’ decision was to reject the OSPR and avoid splitting the effort of maintaining multiple Arabic locales, which Farhaan discussed with the client and thus attained their assistance in improving the main Arabic translation set. This was the best outcome all around, and provides a great example of how to find compromises between specific site operator requests and the needs of the broader community.
